On Logical Fields

Day 33 I want to try and paint a picture here of what logical field might be like. Imagine if you will a collection of dots. Then, imagine that there are connections between these dots, so that end up with a field of dots connected y a series of lines.This field of connected dots is something like a logical field. We can imagine what certain specific logical fields might partially seem like, as well. Take for example the Peano postulates, which are certain specific logical rules for mathematics. Now, I just wrote that rules have issues, but leave that aside for the moment. There are five original peano postulates, and so we have five points in the field. These points are all peano postulates, and they are all existing in the same field, so they are are connected. From these postulates we can build up more and more possible things in the logical space that they are about. If we link two or more postulates together, then we prove something in that area – we prove that something exists...

On Mirrors

Day 41 We find mirrors all over the place. Sometimes the mirror is in the words of a child, words which strike us to the quick – there is a reason that 'truth comes from the mouth of a babe'. Sometimes the mirror is someone whom we run into that is going through a trial in life that we too have known. Sometimes the mirror is some especially angry or happy person who could have been us, if we went down a different path. All that is is, is in the world, and all that is, is a gem, and all gems are connected to one another. It follows that on occasion, when you run into some gem in the world which is not you, that you will find yourself. It also follows that sometimes when you turn back to yourself as a gem, that sometimes you will lose yourself. These activities we can call facing the mirror, or going down the path. Life is a dance in the void which never stays still, and which travels in near-circles, spirals, as the world. I said once that small things can make a difference...

On 4D Objects

Day 30 Yesterday I sat by a lake and watched ripples in the water. This got me to thinking about something that I've said before – that everything effects everything else. Of course this appears to be true by definition of a thing in the world, but I wander if there is another way to interpret the saying. One way to think of something effecting something else is to think of it in a present and physical sense. In a present sense, we can say that when something happens, then everything else is effected immediately by definition. If a tree falls in a forest and I don't hear it, then I am still effected by that tree because a complete description of me would also include information about everything that effects, and everything that effects those things that effect me, and so on and on. In the physical sense, the fall of that tree in the forest sends out a wave of energy, or a wave of change that results in me moving in some way. We might envision this as a incredibly small shift...
